Security Engineers
Covert Systems is always looking for talented and personable security professionals. We hire both full time and contract employees who are outgoing, reliable and leaders in their field.
The position will be responsible for the following functions:
- Perform security monitoring and auditing of bank networks
- Understanding of common firewall products configuration and distribution
- Understanding of enterprise and personal virus protection products
- Managing network and host based Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
- Design data security policies, procedures and processes
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Thorough understanding of TCP/IP Networking and routing
- Experience with security tools such as Internet Security Scanner, NMap, Nessus, Phonesweep, EPolicy, Surf Control, Snort, etc.
- Understanding of Incident response and disaster recovery techniques
One or more of the following certifications a definite plus:
SANS, GSEC, CISSP, CISA, ISS software certification, CCSE/CCSA, Cisco Security.
Understanding of web application architecture, ASP and XML a plus.
Checkpoint VPN-1 and Cisco-PIX a plus.
Hands on work with HIPAA compliance a major plus.
